Welcome to ULJ Festival
For two days every December, UManyano Lwe Jazz transforms into a gathering of music lovers, artists, cultural workers, travellers, families, creatives and communities from across Southern Africa and the diaspora. For the love of Jazz, Community and the Culture.
The name "UManyano" comes from a Nguni word meaning “coming together.” That spirit continues to guide everything we do.
This December, UManyano Lwe Jazz Festival celebrates its fifth edition at Casalinga Farm with its most ambitious gathering yet.
Expect artists from Southern Africa, the diaspora and beyond, world-class sound, elevated hospitality, curated food, market experiences, and the intimate community spirit that made ULJ special from day one.
